The Valley of Butterflies is the commercial and services center in Indira Gandhi Street in the district of Ursynów in Warsaw extended to the exhibition and museum areas. In the course of devising the conception of this assumption they worked simultaneously on the design and the picture entitled "Symphony". The thoughts contained in the picture were transferred to the design and vice versa. The design would not be created without drawing values, whereas the drawing without designed values.
One of the designed purposes was the presence of green type of the surrounding, therefore the commercial center as a whole was engrossed in scarps, lifting in some places the greenery and forming a park this way. The correspondence of the commercial and green park center with its walking trails, its cafes and its restaurants makes the Valley of Butterflies profitable investment for the city and a man-friendly area, which defines this territory till now as the territory without its own clear identity.
At the first sight our attention is drawn to the higher buildings arranged in the form of a fan, directed to the center of this assumption, and with their appearance they bring to mind a group of butterflies which "has just settled", but they are prepared to a flight. The buildings house a museum of butterflies and insects, educational halls and temporary exhibition spaces.

The butterflies "have settled" in the valley otherwise. After getting the top of a high-rise building, housing offices to let, we reach a restaurant, from which stretches the view of the whole assumption with the butterflies outlined on the file-floor. The night view from the top of the tower makes the idea more legible because all the edges of the tile-floor, playing their role, are appropriately highlighted showing " a logo" of the assumption. This causes that the assumption by means of "this logo" is recognizable. Approaching, on foot, from the underground side, a row of industrial forms emerges. These forms are designed in one module of breadth and make route leading to the exhibition center - the culmination of an exhibition as well as the center of the valley arrangement.
They are also the exhibition space which making a kind of a tail/a decoy guides an uninformed and accidental viewer to the culmination of the exhibition, which are its message. They make up the routes along which different functions ( exhibition and relaxation ones - the places for sitting or playing the chess, and also usable functions - a cashpoint, etc.) are interwoven.
In the course of the year the valley lives on its own abounding in cultural events of different types and meeting different needs of those who visit it because of practical, social or relaxing reasons.
